When I bought a set of Choose Your Own Adventure books on eBay, the last thing I was expecting to discover was an adventure all of my own. Scribbled in the margins were cryptic notes from the little boy, Terence, who had originally owned the books. Out of one of the books fell four pages of an old diary. They seemed to catalogue a troubled and unhappy childhood. A cry for help.
